Now the game is getting a breath of fresh air thanks to the upcoming Online Mode that Ubisoft Toronto have promised for some time. It really is a good game with a great single-player campaign held back by a few little grievances. In Legion, players must build up an army of hackers – all of whom have different backgrounds and ages, and a keen sense of hacking into security cameras, turrets, and drones – all in the name of expressive freedom and privacy. Watch Dogs Legion is based in post-Brexit England, with millions of potential DedSec recruits fresh for the picking. This is not the usual Watch Dogs Legion experience. We laugh as I mention how I took a stupid turn during the last mission and rightfully got myself into this predicament. With no way out, I resign my fate and start thinking of which DedSec operative I will be switching to as soon as this is over… only for those thoughts to diminish as a vehicle speeds through all of the guards in front of me, a fellow Agent in its cockpit yelling over Discord for me to get into the “damn car”. Multiple guards, a massive drone, and much more on the way. I reach the corner and pull out the little automatic rifle I had unlocked earlier. I was dumb, I forgot to look at the map before I attempted – and failed – to hack a high profile tower. Distinct security chatter over the radio foretells a shoot-out as soon as corner ahead is turned. The darkness of night blinking away every three meters as street lamps pass overhead.

The game will launch with the Xbox Series X on November 10, and the PS5 on November 24.Running through a massive factory parking lot and vaulting over a semi, drones falling out of the sky and security booms crashing down. Watch Dogs: Legion will launch October 29 for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One. Both games are sure to be popular when they launch on both current and next-generation hardware. However, it won't be the only Ubisoft game available this holiday season, with the publisher also dropping Assassin's Creed Valhallaon November 10. The game looks to be one of the most ambitious Ubisoft projects in years, with its focus on allowing players to build a team of resistance fighters from general NPCs, transforming it into the franchise's most experimental release to date. Much like the previous Classroom 101 trailer, this new co-op showcase has a lot of essential information for eager Watch Dogs: Legion fans. The trailer also depicts how important teamwork is to co-op missions in Watch Dogs: Legion, showing one character trying to conquer an enemy outpost while his two partners are flirting. It seems the permadeath rules will still apply when players are in co-op, as both grandmas are eventually run over by a speeding van. The latter gets a memorable showcase in the advertisement, with two players bringing together their team of grandmas to cause carnage on London's streets. These seem to range from difficult missions that warrant the extra manpower, to merely exploring the open-world and causing havoc. Following some gags surrounding the game's resistance masks, the trailer's lecturer discusses what options are available to player teams, revealing that up to three operatives can buddy up to tackle challenges in the world. Fans return to the Watch Dogs classroom, with the same disgruntled teacher welcoming students to a new seminar, this time concerning the cooperative mode.

On top of getting to tear up London on their own, players will also have the chance to enjoy Watch Dogs: Legionwith a friend in cooperative play. With very little of the game's multiplayer mode being shown off thus far, Ubisoft has dropped an amusing new trailer showing off exactly what players can do in co-op and how the mode works. Not only does it feature an innovative new mechanic that lets players assume the role of any NPC they meet on the street, but it will also make its way to the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 next month. Bringing Ubisoft's hacking franchise to the streets of London, Watch Dogs: Legion is already primed to be one of the biggest games of the year.
